The project launch ceremony commemorates the official collaboration between GIC and Alpaca following a thorough analysis and evaluation of the remarkable benefits that Alpaca's solution delivers to further enhance service quality at GIC.

Mr. Phan Hoang Chung Thuy, General Director of GIC, attended the ceremony, as did members of the Executive Board and specialist professionals from the Departments/Divisions involved in the project. Mr. Tran Hong Hai, Company Director, and project execution team members from Alpaca attended.

GIC's Personal Insurance Business has grown significantly in recent years as Institutional Agency sales channels have expanded. As a result, the number of compensation cases grew steadily and spread across the country. Standardizing and enhancing the quality of insurance claim processing and payment not only ensures customer pleasure, but also allows GIC to establish a complete database system to serve actuaries and prevent insurance fraud.

After talking with and learning about other options on the market, GIC decided to deploy Alpaca to centralize insurance payments for insurance products. Specifically, the project will incorporate features such as standardizing customer data, automatically synchronizing data with systems, and assisting in looking up customer information quickly and accurately. Implement a compensation management system to document the whole process of receiving and processing compensation documents; give intuitive reporting tools to easily track and assess processing times.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Phan Hoang Chung Thuy, General Director of GIC, stated: "GIC is focusing on promoting the growth of key products such as Motor Vehicle Insurance, Personal Insurance..., in which the use of technology to improve internal processes is an essential element that must be implemented. As a result, GIC's Board of Directors expects both parties to collaborate and focus on completing the project on time.”

Mr. Tran Hong Hai, Alpaca's Director, has committed to complete the project plan to the best of his ability with Alpaca's team of experienced insurance professionals.

Beginning in March 2024, the project is anticipated to be carried out in accordance with a five-phase roadmap. By carrying out this project, GIC hopes to improve its professional and esteemed reputation among key partners and satisfy consumers' expectations for service in the digital era.
