Base was deemed by the GIC side to be a qualified and knowledgeable platform in the area of digital transformation, suitable for the GIC's upcoming plan, at the project kick-off ceremony. "GIC is currently putting its business plan into action in an effort to crack the top 10 in the insurance market by 2025. The plan's innovators will concentrate on technology investment, retail product development, and head office restructuring. In light of this, GIC's leadership decided that now is the ideal time to transform the digital workspace at the corporate headquarters before extending to the entire system, as emphasized by Mr. Phan Hoang Chung Thuy, GIC's General Director.

Following the "Kick-Off" button being pressed by the representatives of GIC and Base to begin the Base platform implementation project, the two parties talked about the timeline and strategy for the impending digital transformation, as well as the employees and staff. GIC will receive key services like: actively managing personal work, keeping an eye on how administrative procedures are being carried out, etc.
