GIC guarantees safety for 1,000 workers' journeys home to celebrate Tet on motorcycles

Global Insurance Corporation (GIC), with the mission of providing practical protection solutions to Vietnamese people, is offering 1,000 free checks and oil changes to workers who plan to return home to celebrate Tet on a motorcycle.
As usual, in the final days of the year, working people in general, and workers in particular in Ho Chi Minh City, are busy traveling to neighboring provinces to reunite with their families for Tet. Most workers prefer to travel home on a motorcycle because it saves money.

The festival "Tet reunion - 1,000 safe trips" was arranged by Global Insurance Corporation (GIC) to provide 1,000 people with a safer travel experience and increased security for drivers. Free maintenance to assist employees who must ride their motorcycles home to celebrate Tet.

The event will take place over two days, from January 27 to January 28 (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.), at the Ho Chi Minh City Young Employee Assistance Center (YEAC) offices in Districts 12 and 07. This is a program by Global Insurance Corporation (GIC) works with YEAC and AP SaiGon Petro Joint Stock Company (Saigon Petro). Here, 1,000 motorcycles are properly inspected and their oil changed for free.
Furthermore, at the end of each vehicle's maintenance process, the technical team offers vehicle owners with information regarding lubricant quality and other tips for motorcycle use to assist boost the car's longevity and safety.
While waiting for the car to be inspected and the oil changed, individuals can engage in enjoyable activities such as asking for calligraphy letters, hurling cans, playing bingo, and receiving other valued gifts...

The cost of each car repair and oil change at the "Tet reunion - 1,000 safe trips" festival is 122,000 VND per vehicle, for a total of 1,000 vehicles. In addition, to help workers in particularly difficult circumstances, GIC distributed 200 additional Tet gifts worth 400,000 VND each, with the aim that they may enjoy a warmer and more rewarding Tet.

GIC official, Mr. Hoang Quoc Cuong - Director of Business Development and Marketing Division, explained the program's meaning: "This is the first year GIC conducts events to support workers in checking the car and changing the oil for free. GIC hopes that this companionship will make the workers' journey home to celebrate Tet safer, allow them to spend quality time with their family, and then return to work with new beliefs and hopes for a successful and happy Year of the Dragon."
