Representatives from the Corporation's Board of Directors, including Mr. Phan Hoang Chung Thuy, General Director, and Mr. Bui Huy Cuong, Chief Financial Officer, were present, as well as representatives from the Party Committee, Mr. Tran Bang Doan, Secretary of the Branch (Director of the Accounting - Tax Department), and Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Cell (Director of the Expense Management Department).

The Grassroots Trade Union Congress was organized in accordance with the plan of the Grassroots Trade Union Global Insurance Corporation, and it summarized and assessed the movement and activities of the Trade Union in accordance with its mandate 2016 through 2022; Learn from past mistakes, lay out goals and tasks for the future, and elect the grassroots trade union's executive committee for the years 2023 to 2028.

Looking back on the 2016 - 2022 period, the GIC Trade Union has accomplished many of its objectives in terms of organization, propagandizing, education, legal policies that are worthy of imitation and praise, and social activities...

GIC Union has 207 union members out of a total of 229 employees; the employment situation and workers' lives are relatively stable; GIC has implemented regimes and policies for employees such as: Social insurance - health insurance - unemployment insurance; Purchasing health and accident insurance packages for employees; Visiting employees and employees' relatives... However, there are some shortcomings from the previous term that must be identified and addressed.

Closing out the previous term, the GIC Trade Union elected a new Executive Board for the term 2023 - 2028, consisting of seven elected employees:

1. Union President: Mr. Truong Minh Hoang (Director of Sales Department No. 01)

2. Vice Chairman of Trade Union: Mr. Sai Ba Cuong (Director of Administrative Department)

3. Member of the Executive Committee: Ms. Nguyen Thi Khanh Ly (Tax Accounting Department)

4. Member of the Executive Committee: Ms. Le Thi Thien Thanh (Human Resources Department)

5. Member of the Executive Committee: Ms. Pham Ha Mi (Expense Management Committee)

6. Member of the Executive Committee: Ms. Ho Hoang Duy (Investment Committee)

7. Member of the Executive Committee: Mr. Pham Ba Chinh (Administration Committee)

Mr. Truong Minh Hoang (Director of Business Department No. 01) - Chairman of the Trade Union for the term 2023 - 2028 stated at the meeting: "On behalf of the Executive Board of the new term, I would like to thank all the delegations, members trusted and supported. In addition to the old goals, we will do our best to implement the new tasks launched in the term 2023 - 2028".

GIC anticipates that, with the trust of the congress, GIC's Trade Union members will always do their best to fulfill their assigned tasks and make the union's activities more efficient, achieve better results.
