4/10/2025

In addition to 10 central LED screens, Ho Chi Minh City will arrange 22 more LED screens across districts and Thu Duc City, as well as mobilize commercial LED displays to broadcast the military parade and march.
The HCMC People’s Committee has just submitted a report to the Prime Minister regarding preparations for activities commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2025).

As for the celebration and parade scheduled on April 30 in HCMC, the Ministry of National Defense has taken the lead, coordinating with the city to conduct field surveys and officially approve the organization plan.

The parade will feature 36 units from the armed forces and police, coordinated by the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Public Security. Following the military parade, HCMC will organize a march with 12 units and over 13,000 participants.

So far, HCMC has designed the stands with 5,260 seats for guests, with Stand A offering 1,065 seats, Stand B 1,830 seats, and Stand C 2,360 seats. There will also be a ceremonial stage, a press area, a reporter's center, medical facilities, ambulances, fire trucks, mobile toilets, and technical centers.

The area will feature LED screens arranged in a way that combines augmented reality technology, video art, 3D visuals, and graphic illustrations to enhance the parade and march.

The city is also setting up LED screens and loudspeakers along major roads and crowded areas to help residents follow the event.

To ensure widespread communication, HCMC will place 10 LED screens in the city center, 22 in districts and Thu Duc City, as well as commercial advertising LED screens. Local agencies are working urgently to relocate and dismantle infrastructure to make room for the setup, scheduled to be completed by April 22.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism has submitted a draft to the Standing Committee of the Party and the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee regarding the script for the commemorative program, which includes the parade and the 50th-anniversary celebration of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification. The program will start with a 30-minute performance by HCMC, featuring military music, rifle dances, and artistic performances.

The detailed script will include flag-raising, a 21-gun salute, the national anthem, the introduction of delegates, speeches by Party and State leaders, addresses by war veterans and the younger generation of Vietnam, the performance of the song "The Whole Country Is Joyful," the military parade, the march, and the release of balloons and pigeons.
