VPBank - Credit Card Insurance

GIC collaborated with Vietnam Prosperity Joint Stock Commercial Bank (VPBank) to launch four insurance products with a variety of exceptional features to VPBank's credit card holders:

Coverage up to 2,400,000 VND each day of hospitalization is provided as support during a hospital stay.
Credit Card Insurance: This product is crucial for credit card users since it offers complete protection against unforeseen risks and occurrences.
Personal Accident Insurance: covers up to 40 million VND in actual medical costs per accident.
Motorcycle Insurance: The most straightforward and complete form of insurance for persons and cars, offering three advantages in on.

In specifically, when consumers enroll in the program with fees greater than VND 600,000, VPBank uses a 12-month premium installment scheme with 0% interest.

Insurance benefits

GIC and VPBank are working together to offer the following 4 insurance products to consumers who use VPBank credit cards:
1. Health insurance to cover hospitalization:

Up to VND 1,200,000 each day of hospitalization for support for hospitalization due to illness or accident (maximum 100 days/treatment course).
In the event of hospitalization in the intensive care unit, the level of support is quadrupled and can reach 2,400,000 VND per day of hospitalization.

2. Credit Card Insurance

Benefits of permanent disability insurance due to personal accident during a trip abroad with tickets purchased by credit card up to VND 2.2 billion.
Insurance up to VND 100,000,000 per case, applicable to one case per year, for card fraud caused by theft or loss.
Insurance coverage of up to 100,000,000 VND per case, applicable to one case per year, in the event that one is obliged to use an ATM and is robbed within two hours of doing so.
Support for the expense of re-doing documents when losing documents and cards is provided up to 10,000,000. Apply to one instance per year.

3. Personal accident insurance:

Coverage for medical costs up to 40,000,000 VND per case and an extra 2,000,000 VND for the purchase of travel assistance.
Benefits for accidental death or permanent disability up to 600,000,000 VND. In case of death, child support is set at 5,000,000 VND per kid and expanding support for funeral at 5,000,000 VND.

4. Motorcycle Insurance:

Accident insurance with a liability threshold of VND 20,000,000 per person/case for passengers in the vehicle.
Up to 70,000,000 VND in insurance coverage for total loss, theft, and theft of the entire motorbike.
Mandatory civil liability insurance, which helps cover damages to nearby people and property caused by the vehicle (up to VND 150,000,000 per person and case for human damage and VND 50,000,000 per case for property damage).
