2022

This is the first year GIC implements its business strategy 2022 – 2025 with the goal of becoming the Top 10 in Viet Nam.

2021

The year 2021 marks a 15-year milestone of GIC's establishment and development. To mark the development of the brand, GIC launched a new website in 2021 that has a user-friendly interface and more purchasing options in the same year. Simple online shopping. At the same time, GIC continues to expand its network with the establishment of 4 more sales offices across the country.

2020

In 2020, GIC promotes brand promotion and distribution of GIC Easy products through Telesales and Digital channels. At the same time, signed Bancassurance cooperation: Mirae Asset, VFC, Paylater.

2019

GIC generated 1,400 billion VND in total revenue with a staff of nearly 600 employees. It served 2.5 million private and business clients across the country. A collaboration contract was signed with Bolttech and some significant partners like JACSS and Momo to offer a product line for mobile device insurance.

2018

GIC cooperates with ERGO and ERV to launch Global Safe International Travel Insurance product line. Eximbank, Nam A Bank, HDBank, Easy Credit, and FCCOM signed agreements to work together to expand Bancass's distribution network.

2022

Mr. HO NAM THANG

Chairman of the Board of Directors

Bachelor of Business Administration - National Economics University. He has more than 35 years of experience in the insurance industry and has held important management roles at some of the top insurance and reinsurance firms in Vietnam, including director of member businesses and deputy general director. He was the one who laid the first foundation at GIC. From 2006 until the present, he has served as chairman of the board of directors.

Mr. PHAN HOANG CHUNG THUY

General Director

He earned a bachelor's degree in Finance from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Finance and Accounting. He is in charge of management and executive roles in a variety of industries, including insurance, business, and finance. He has worked for significant insurance companies for approximately 30 years. Joining GIC from the early days of its establishment as a founding shareholder, and holding the position of General Director since 2006, he has helped the company expand consistently and leave a lasting influence on the insurance industry. Mr. BUI HUY CUONG

Chief Financial Officer

Bachelor of Computer Science - Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology; Master of Finance - University of Houston - Clear Lake (USA). He used to work for the Foreign Investment Center under the Ministry of Planning and Investment before joining the insurance industry in 2010. At GIC, he held the positions of Deputy Director of Finance - Accounting Department, Investment Director. and has been the Chief Financial Officer of GIC from June 2018 to present.

Mr. HOANG THANH TUNG

Sales Director

Engineer, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering - Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology. He was in charge of business management positions inside and outside the insurance industry with more than 10 years holding the position of Sales Director of insurance companies. Joining GIC since 2016, he has made a substantial contribution to the growth and gradual improvement of the business network to support key partners, corporations, and individual customers.
